I am pleased to introduce you to my good friend, flower farmer, and wedding florist, Jennie Love of Love n’ Fresh Flowers. Jennie and I became fast friends years ago while working together on the board of the Association of Specialty Cut Flowers Growers organization. It became apparent to us quickly that we are very like minded except for one tiny little thing: I’m an extrovert (who knew that) and Jennie is an introvert. We balance one another perfectly!
Jennie is a professionally-trained floriculturist and a lifelong farmer. Her beautiful creative work is evident not only from photos, but also from the recognition received from Martha Stewart, The New York Times, Brides Magazine, and other high profile wedding outlets. This includes being named one of the top 20 wedding florists by Martha Stewart!
All of this speaks volumes about Jennie and her work, BUT– it’s her wedding business sense that drew me to pursue her to create a course. Her course Farmer-Florist School Online: The Wedding Process maps out how to build a sound and successful business.
It’s the foundation of a business that truly makes or breaks it’s future. While many see the end result of being in business — gorgeous flowers in this case– as the most important piece, that is SO NOT TRUE. It’s getting the business pieces of being a farmer-florist in place that leads to a sustainable and profitable future.
I invite you to learn more about Jennie by clicking around my website to get the details on her upcoming course and then to fall into her Love n’ Fresh Flowers website. Read some of her blogs, see how she has built an amazing business and then… go down the rabbit hole of gorgeous wedding work photos on her site….
