Welcome to Week 4 of Seed Starting Saturdays! Believe it or not, doing these videos is helping to keep me on track too. Sometime I just have to be reminded of some of the simple things to do to get to the finish line of the big picture.
This week I share more tips, make some blocks and move up a small block into the larger block. I also introduce my favorite new tool, the Vegetable Garden Planner. It tells you when to start and plant seeds based on your frost dates, so it works for everyone. Because I’m not as familiar with cool-season vegetable planting dates like I am with flowers, it is really helps me. Enjoy!
Lisa’s take away notes:
If I was a home gardener: I’d head over to Lisa’s Tips and Tricks for more on seed starting!
If I was a flower farmer: I would be leaning on the side of starting seeds a smidgen later than earlier to keep from having to pot on to the next size up. Better to have short healthy versus overgrown tall plants.
