If you have dreamed of becoming a flower farmer, but think it’s impossible, or if you are already growing but feeling overwhelmed or discouraged, I designed this course for you. I know exactly how you feel, because I’ve been there.
When I jumped into flower farming 20 years ago as a novice gardener with no farming experience, it surely seemed unlikely that I could build a cut-flower business. I mean, I lived in the middle of the city on an acre lot and couldn’t even have a greenhouse! But these barriers actually became the stepping stones to building a successful urban cut-flower farming business.
Let’s face it, learning to become a flower farmer and business owner can be hard. I struggled in the early years, but I loved what I was doing so much that I set out to learn how to run my little urban farm more efficiently, earn a profit, and to have a family life beyond the business.
Today I do just that. I love living on my beautiful little farm and growing seasonal flowers for our members-only market and the local floral trade. While I have been sharing my experiences through programs for years, I am thrilled that I can bring even more in-depth classes with online courses.
What can start out as a dream-come-true business choice can quickly turn to endless weeds and flat sales— but it doesn’t have to be that way. My course offers the road map to all the possibilities of becoming a flower farmer.
Course includes 6-weeks of sessions and a weekly Q and A with Lisa. More details coming-
