A New Day for www.thegardenersworkshop.com

A new day has come this cold January day for The Gardener’s Workshop. We have just launched a brand new amazing website and what a journey it has been. This was kind of a forced makeover because the shopping cart platform business we have used since 2005 notified us last summer that they were closing down Feb. 1, 2015.

If you think moving your home is complicated—trying moving an online store that has thousands of links to other sites, hundreds of products and photos and a whole bunch of other stuff you can’t even see! I was so fortunate to have connected with an awesome team that made it as painless as possible; Val Gosset of Evergreen Marketing and Steve White of Growth Communications. Kudos and hats off to Val and Steve!

It all began back in November with my very long wish list. I had website envy bad once I started visiting some of the big boy sites and saw features I thought we just had to have. My website dreams are coming true:

  • Shopping our products online is so much easier.
  • Customers can now easily review our products for other potential customers to read.
  • Our video library will host better quality videos (we are working on reinstalling all our videos.)
  • Photo galleries are easy to navigate and view.

SONY DSCKelly, my niece has steadily worked on the site and continues to work with Steve to fix any hiccups that come up and to add lots more photos (especially in the Farm Dog album.) So please visit our site and let us know what you think!

KELLY

Kelly harvests, does our seed starting and works on our website!

We’d really love to start getting some reviews on our fresh cut-flower programs and our gardening supplies!
